We’re a dynamic digital media team passionate about connecting with our audience through engaging and inspiring content in the recipe, food and lifestyle niches with two premier properties. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to spearhead our presence across Flipboard, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more.
What You’ll Do:
– Strategize, plan, and execute our social media content calendar to boost engagement and follower count across all platforms.
– Craft compelling content tailored for each social media platform.
– Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
– Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering a positive and interactive environment.
– Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, especially within the recipe and DIY niches, to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Who You Are:
– Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of experience in social media management within the recipe or DIY tutorial lifestyle niche, a proven track record of engaging an American audience, and a sufficient understanding of American holidays and the four seasons.
– You’re a creative storyteller who knows how to connect with an audience through engaging posts and visually appealing content.
– Proficient with social media analytics tools and able to translate data into actionable insights.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
– Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your workload effectively, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
– Experience with content creation tools and project management tools like Slack and ClickUp is a plus.
Requirements:
– Experience with google docs and sheets. REQUIRED
– High-quality English skills and confidence in writing without AI assistance. REQUIRED
– Ability to use a VPN. REQUIRED
– Ability to work GMT-5 time and post/engage live in real time with our audience. REQUIRED

The job is Monday through Friday and starts Monday, May 6, 2024. Pay starts at $4/hour. This is initially a part-time schedule of 20 hours a week. If we get along well and you’re interested in developing skills, we can explore additional opportunities and broaden our scope.
