Job Description:
As a Social Media Manager with Shopify experience, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive sales. You will work closely with our marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media campaigns, and optimize our Shopify store for maximum conversion. This role requires a blend of creative skills, analytical thinking, and technical proficiency in Shopify and various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our Shopify store.
Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts, to share across social media channels.
Monitor social media trends, tools, platforms, and applications and recommend strategies to optimize our social media presence.
Manage and optimize our Shopify store, ensuring seamless user experience, mobile responsiveness, and efficient navigation.
Analyze social media and Shopify metrics, track the effectiveness of campaigns, and provide regular performance reports to the management team.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions, sales events, and other initiatives to boost online sales and customer engagement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, Shopify updates, and social media best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses, with a focus on driving sales and brand growth.
Expertise in using Shopify, including product listing, inventory management, and order processing.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and digital marketing trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Initially, the applicant will be engaged on a trial basis with the view to ongoing regular work. Hourly rate will be negotiated depending on demonstrated ability.
