Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
Job Type: Freelance. Part-time

We’re in search of a self-driven Social Media Manager Assistant to support our Digital Marketing Manager by maintaining an active social media presence, generating weekly analytics reports for all channels, crafting compelling Instagram stories, scheduling all social media posts, graphic design, and fostering social media engagement that adheres to our Explorer Chick brand standards. Our ideal candidate must have a solid grasp of different social media platforms and the latest marketing trends, exceptional enthusiastic communication skills, an eye for design, and a knack for handling multiple tasks efficiently. This position is initially short-term but offers the potential for a longer-term opportunity based on performance.

Responsibilities/Outcomes:

– Creating visually appealing and engaging social media content, including graphics, reel covers, and capcut videos using an established brand kit, Canva templates, and guidance from Direct Report.
– Collaborate with Digital Media Marketer in Asana for assignments, work approval, and final drafts for scheduling.
– Community management across all channels including outreach engagement, answering brand-related questions swiftly in comments and DMs, and bolstering excitement in comment threads. Facebook Group management including moderating posts within the brand’s image. Answering inquiries that aid guests thru the buyer’s journey to book.
– Analyze and track weekly social media and marketing performance metrics
– Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
– Additional duties as assigned by the Direct Report

Competencies/Requirements:

– Degree in Marketing or related field (preferred)
– Previous experience in a social marketing role
– Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta Business Suite
– Strong history of converting social media efforts into bookings/sales through engagement, CTAs, and DMs.
– Creative design in Canva and Capcut app.
– Strong knowledge of social media management including content creation and scheduling.
– Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools. Understanding of the metrics that push the needle.
– Understanding of TOF and MOF traffic including what posts attract each type of audience and which CTA’s to use to move them down the funnel.
– History of creating IG stories that convert
– Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
– Strong communication skills; written and verbal
– Proficiency in using various communication tools such as email, Slack, and Asana
– A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
