Job Description

We are looking for someone to help manage & grow our event company’s social media accounts and provide general support to the business and the owner.

Your daily responsibilities would include:

Send a daily report through email, detailing completed
and ongoing tasks.

Marketing our events on Instagram, Facebook, Eventbrite & Mailchimp. This would be done both organically and occasionally through paid ad campaigns.

Helping with the day-to-day running of a small events company. Liaising via email with venues and acts. Updating files and looking for new opportunities. Keeping records. Sending invoices.

Supporting the organisation’s owner with research, emails, and helping to manage his diary. You must be highly organised and ensure he is too.

To qualify for the position, you will need at least 1 year
experience in the following:

Social media marketing

So it’s really important that our VA would be:

Exceptionally organised

Creative

Exceptional written English skills

Someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions

Able to learn new skills quickly

If you have some of the following skills/experience, this
would be helpful:

– Experience working in the arts / electronic music events / music festivals / comedy events
– Social media marketing for an individual (rather than for a company/brand)
– Experience as a personal assistant
– Experience in managing someone’s diary
– Graphic design/video creation – particularly related to the arts / music / theatre
– Knowledge of paid social media ads best practices (eg when to post, type of content, best descriptions, best ways to target audiences, number of hashtags etc)
– Eventbrite
– Event marketing
– Email marketing
– Experience with basic accounting / invoicing – i.e. using QuickBooks or something similar

In addition to having excellent English skills, you’ll need
to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need
to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least
familiar with most of them.

This is a part-time position – 20 hours a week. Monday – Friday (18 hours), plus 1-2 hours at the weekend. You can work anytime between 10:00-18:00 GMT Monday-Friday, and anytime between 10:00-22:00 GMT at the weekend.

You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves after the 6-month probation period.

We honor most Filipino holidays except for All Saints and All Souls Day.

You must be available to work throughout August, including during any holidays that fall in August. You can take time off in-lieu in September if you have worked over any August holidays.

Salary – $300 (20 hours a week)

Once you complete your 6 months probation, you will get:
13th month

Depending on the growth of the business, this could turn into a full-time position in 1-2 years time.
