We’re passionate about bringing fresh ideas to the building and construction industry, and are looking for a part-time Virtual Assistant with superb Social Media Management skills to lead our marketing efforts.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a knack for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media marketing strategies for each channel.
Complete research on SEO, keywords, and hashtags.
Create social media content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
Provide a monthly content calendar, outlining the planned social media posts, campaigns, and engagement activities.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms in a timely manner.
Monitor the growth and performance of all the social media platforms, and provide a monthly report with recommendations for improvement.
Prepare other marketing material as needed.
Copywriting for blog articles and scheduling and uploading the blog articles to a WordPress website.
Liaise with wholesale clients to support them with their marketing needs.
Perform VA duties, including but not limited to fielding incoming calls, answering the telephone, responding to enquiries on social media channels, inbox management, maintaining the WordPress website, formatting documents, preparing marketing materials and presentations, and assisting with trade show or demo content.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools and software.
