Social Media Outreach Specialist for Children’s Book Publisher

We are now seeking a Social Media Outreach Specialist who loves engaging with people on social media and managing groups. They also understand our target audience: kids, parents, and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Group Management:
– Oversee and moderate our dedicated social media group, ensuring a friendly, engaging environment free of inappropriate content.
– Initiate and facilitate children’s literature, education, and parenting discussions.

*Content Posting:
– Share our published books, upcoming releases, and relevant content in targeted groups and platforms frequented by parents and educators.
– Design and post interactive content on our profiles to spark interest and discussion among our followers.
– Collaborate with Social Media Manager to create content ideas.
– Host giveaways & promote books

*Engagement:
– Actively engage with profiles of parents, educators, and influencers by responding to their posts, sharing insights, or simply appreciating quality content.
– Build genuine relationships with potential brand ambassadors, similar brands in our niche, and influencers in the children’s education niche.
– Help increase followers by engaging with audiences and groups.

*Messaging:
-Address incoming messages or comments on our books and other products promptly and professionally.
-Guide interested individuals toward making informed choices about our offerings.

*Review Acquisition:
– Encourage parents, teachers, and young readers to leave positive reviews about our books.
– Help get 10+ weekly reviews.

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in a teaching role or as a parent, preferably with small children.
– Good written English skills.
– Proven experience or interest in social media outreach.
– A naturally friendly person is excited to connect and converse on social media platforms and does not mind using their profile if needed.
