We are looking for a Social Media Specialist. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates across various platforms. In addition to managing social media channels, you will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences. This role requires a creative mindset, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of both social media trends and influencer marketing best practices. This is a full-time, remote/hybrid role. You will report to our Digital Marketing Manager.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement integrated social media and influencer marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives, including increasing followers, driving website traffic, and generating leads.
Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest etc
Manage day-to-day activities on social media channels, including content creation, posting, community management, and engagement with followers.
Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates whose values align with our brand, negotiating partnerships and collaborations to promote products and services.
Collaborate with influencers to develop creative content that resonates with their audience while maintaining brand authenticity and messaging.
Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns, including product gifting, sponsored content, and affiliate partnerships, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Monitor influencer performance and campaign effectiveness, analyzing key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging influencer marketing strategies, continually seeking out new opportunities to engage with influencers and expand brand reach.
Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to support influencer initiatives and amplify reach among target demographics.
Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts, track performance metrics, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
At least 2-3 years’ experience managing social media platforms for brands, preferably in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy and decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create engaging content.
Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a demonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to plan and execute social media campaigns effectively.
Knowledge of social media advertising platforms, including Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
Experience working with influencers and managing influencer partnerships is a plus.
