Description
Develop and implement a social media strategy: A social media specialist is responsible for creating and executing a social media plan that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. Create and curate content: The social media specialist creates and curates engaging content for social media platforms, including written, visual, and video content. Manage social media accounts: The social media specialist is responsible for managing the organization’s social media accounts, responding to comments and messages from followers, and engaging with the community. Analyze social media data: The social media specialist monitors and analyzes social media metrics and analytics to track the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Stay up-to-date on social media trends: The social media specialist stays up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and new platforms and features. Collaborate with internal teams: The social media specialist collaborates with internal teams, such as marketing and PR, to ensure social media efforts are integrated into broader marketing campaigns. Build and maintain relationships: The social media specialist builds and maintains relationships with influencers and other relevant social media accounts to increase brand awareness and engagement. Manage social media advertising campaigns: The social media specialist manages social media advertising campaigns and budget to drive conversions and ROI. Provide regular reports: The social media specialist provides regular reports on social media performance and presents findings and recommendations to the marketing team and other stakeholders.
This is a full-time Salary-Based Position + Bonuses with a minimum requirement of 40 hours per week from the hours of 9am to 5pm CST or 12pm to 8pm CST
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
• Native English or Fluent English Bi-Lingual Spanish Speaker
• Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in a specific industry, such as tech, fashion, or hospitality
• Experience working autonomously
• Demonstrated success in creating and executing social media campaigns that drove engagement and conversions.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working autonomously with graphic design and video editing software, such as Canva, Pic Monkey
Career Requirements
• Work-from-home setup with at least 20mbps main internet service provider; 4GB RAM; at least an i5 processor
• Backup internet connection with at least 20mbps, and backup power that can last up to 8 hours
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best
practices.
• Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
• Experience with social media advertising, including Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
• Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track social media performance. Creative thinking and problem-
solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
