Our Social Media Specialist (SMS) will write clear and concise copy for episode promotion social posts that foster engagement. SMS should have broad knowledge of social media platforms, publishing, and analytical tools. Our ideal Social Media Specialist is a dedicated, creative, and tech-savvy person that can bring a creative approach to social media marketing to reinforce brand story, engage current clients, and reach prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Specialist (SMS) write social media copies, create visually-appealing images and videos as needed to establish digital brand awareness. Hence, SMS are responsible of the following:
-Writing social media copies for podcast episode promotions.
-Creating visually appealing graphics or videos or audiograms.
-Using well-performing hashtags to increase post visibility.
-Schedule social media content in the best posting times.
-Assisting with website copies and other written content as needed.
-Highlighting and determining the most important part or summary of the episode.
-Researching the podcasts guest’s social media account.
-Engage on comments and target customer account through competitor research or hashtag research.
-Reviewing, editing and proofreading copy written by other team members.
-Source guest images and other content needed for graphics and videos.
-Market and trend research for new social media tools, plugins, and trends.
Qualifications
-Experience as a social media specialist or related position
-Solid understanding of social media platforms, publishing, and analytical tools
-Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
-Ability to spot the most compelling or important part of a podcast episode
-Excellent copywriting, graphics designing and video-editing skills
-Proficient in hashtag research analysis
-Experience and familiarity with Canva and Headliner app
-Ability to grasp and follow branding details of the podcast
-Ability to research social media marketing trends
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills and works well with a team
-Proficient in monitoring and responding to engagement such as replying to comments and messages in social media
-Communicative and open in suggesting new strategies to grow social media platforms
-A keen eye for aesthetics and details
-Flexible, extremely deadline-oriented, and able to work independently.
-Excellent time-management and organizational skills – multi-task, prioritize, and manage workloads effectively.
