Social Media Specialist & Community Engagement

We’re e-commerce store in the event party industry such as weddings, birthdays, and trade shows. With 139,000 followers in Instagram, 28,000 followers in Facebook, 62,000 subscriber in YouTube, and 5 million views in Pinterest monthly.

As a fast-paced, growing company and catering to both B2B and B2C with very trendy products. We seek constantly to challenge the status quo of traffic to our site and business. We are always looking for hardworking, talented, and passionate people (that means you!) to join our team. This position is a part time 20 hours weekly lead to eventually 40 hours/week once understanding our voice, brand, and the need for the company.

Responsibilities:

– Highly engage on our social media and followers.
– visit other community boards or social group boards to actively engage
– Stay up-to-date with changes on all social platforms and react proactively
– Analyze optimal posting schedule on a monthly basis and adjust as necessary
– Assume responsibility of and maintain an organized content calendar (covering multiple platforms) that’s in line with our social media strategy to reach/exceed metric goals
– Posting/scheduling of content on all social media channels
– Monitors SEO and user engagement in order to make recommendations on content optimization
– Handling community management of the social channels and comments throughout the website

Skills, Qualifications, & Expections

– Graphic design
– Social Media analytics for Facebook and Instagram
– Fast turnaround times and a high production/output
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– 2-3 years of social media and storytelling experience
– Knowledge on the latest updates, features, trends and best practices in social media
– Familar with Canva

TIME COMMITMENT:

– This is a full-time 40 hours per week.
