Social Media Video Editing & Graphic Design Assistant

Hey!

I’m looking for a full-time Social Media Video Editor and Graphic Design team member.

You will be responsible for:

1. Taking pre-selected <60s video clips and turning them into polished, professional Shorts/Reels. 2. Creating Youtube Thumbnail graphics 3. Occasional one-off graphic/video tasks Our business is called Proclaim Podcasting. We help Christian coaches and entrepreneurs save hours of time and headache every month by editing and publishing their podcast. Our clients record their podcast episodes, we do the rest, including audio/video editing, show notes, short social media videos, uploading, and publishing. We have a small team and a growing client base of Christian coaches and business owners who are helping to make the world a better place. THE most important traits I'm looking for are: - EXCEPTIONAL English listening, comprehension, and writing skills - Social Media Video Editing (Reels + Shorts) - Graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) - Ability to learn new things (by Googling, watching Youtube, asking good questions, taking action) - Take initiative and solve your problems - Integrity (do what you say you will do, on time, and be trustworthy) I will provide direction, brand guidelines, etc., but I am always open to new and better ways to do things, so I welcome your ideas and workflow improvements. Reel Workflow Overview: - You will get access to Airtable. All of your tasks will be found and completed through Airtable. - You will find a short video selection from a full length episode, and you'll create an Instagram/YouTube-ready edit. Basically, make sure to add b roll, accurate captions, and anything else that will capture attention. --- You should stay up to date on what is currently working and popular on social media, but try to be on the cutting edge by trying new things and experimenting. - Upload your reels to our Drive or Dropbox, then copy and paste the share link to Airtable so the rest of the team can find it. Graphic Workflow Overview: - Airtable task - You’ll see title, show notes, etc. for the Youtube video. There may be some direction in the notes section for you to create a Youtube thumbnail. - Following the client’s branding guidelines, you will create a clickable (yet honest) Youtube thumbnail. - Upload your thumbnail to our Drive or Dropbox, then copy and paste the share link to Airtable so the rest of the team can find it. Looking for someone who can step in immediately and provide 40 hours/week. - This is a full time position, 40 hours/week, 5 days/week. - $800/month USD to start, with opportunities to get a raise based on merit - You must be available roughly once/month to meet Pacific Time…usually 7 or 8 AM your time - I’m flexible when it comes to taking time off, just let me know in advance and ensure your work is taken care of. - You will get 13th month, access to professional tools, access to professional and personal development as opportunities arise, and as much as I can provide to see you succeed. - Other team members live in the Philippines and will support you - In your application, please tell me your favourite book, and how much you read on average - If you are a good fit, I will invite you to perform a test job (paid) for me, so please watch your inbox.
