My name is Janice, and my husband and I are budding social media influencers hoping to make a name for ourselves! Professionally, we both come from tech startup backgrounds. I was a software engineer and product manager who has managed teams for years.
We want someone to help us build and grow these over time with primarily video- and blog-based content. We love traveling and maintaining strong friendships. We will have some personal assistant tasks to make our life easier as we try to balance our social media jobs, two homes, and love for traveling.

We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager and Personal Assistant.

Social Media Job Description (90%-100% of time):
– Edit raw video files into long-form content to be posted on Youtube, including adding sound and cutting between multiple camera angles
– Turning those long-form videos into short-form vertical content to be used as reels/shorts
– Preparing thumbnails and captions for all content
– Posting across multiple social media channels (Instagram, Youtube, TikTok)
– Edit photos for a blog (see ).
– This work is primarily for 2 different channels: Jetsetting Janice (a travel channel with short-form content for now), and JYRCeramics (a ceramics channel with long-form & short-form content). The goal is to edit and post content that will hopefully go viral.
– Personal coaching and checking in on goals (reporting what you did on a daily basis so we can iterate on our processes)

Personal Assistant Job Description (10%-0% of time):
– Help in vetting and hiring personal staff for our family (eg. a cleaner to come twice a week)
– Help planning and organizing personal tasks (picking out gifts for friends’ birthdays, planning weekly date nights for my wife and me, planning weekly dinner parties with our friends, selling items on Facebook marketplace etc.)
– Help planning travel – finding flight options, best hotels/airbnbs, best things to do, best places to eat, etc.

Note:
– Video editing software – Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.
– Photo editing software – Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
– Google Docs/Google Sheets – for tracking tasks and building.
– Slack – for communication
