Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for various social media platforms. Your role will involve editing raw footage, adding visual effects and animations, selecting appropriate music and sound effects, and ensuring that the final product aligns with our brand guidelines and social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing: Edit and enhance raw video footage to create visually appealing and compelling videos for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
2. Creative Content Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and develop video ideas that align with our brand image, target audience, and marketing objectives.
3. Visual Enhancement: Apply video effects, transitions, animations, and other visual enhancements to improve the overall quality and impact of the videos.
4. Audio Editing: Select and integrate appropriate background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the storytelling and engagement of the videos.
5. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all video content adheres to our brand guidelines, including color schemes, fonts, logo placement, and overall visual style.
6. Social Media Optimization: Optimize videos for various social media platforms by understanding their specific requirements, such as aspect ratio, duration, file formats, and video specifications.
7. Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, video editing techniques, and emerging platforms to provide innovative and engaging video content ideas.
8. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as the marketing team, content creators, and graphic designers, to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery of video projects.
9. Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews and proofreading of videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and error-free final deliverables.
10. Analytics and Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of video content using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, preferably in a social media or digital marketing context.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
3. Strong creativity and visual storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
4. Solid understanding of social media platforms, their video requirements, and best practices.
5. Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques for optimal video delivery
across various platforms.
6. Proficient in audio editing, including sound mixing and synchronization.
7. Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation techniques.
8. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
10. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
11. Portfolio of previous video editing work demonstrating technical skills and creative abilities.
