Job Description:
As our Social Media Video Editor & Content Strategist, you will be responsible for editing video content and crafting strategic, engaging, and visually compelling content that aligns with our brand’s tone of voice. You will work closely with me to ensure each piece of content is unique and tailored to our specific goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Graphic Design
Edit raw video footage into high-quality social media content, including but not limited to, Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook videos.
Add graphics, effects, and captions that align with the brand’s tone of voice and enhance viewer engagement.
Ensure all videos are optimized for various social media platforms, adhering to the technical specifications and best practices of each.
Content Strategy:
Develop unique and strategic content plans for each social media platform.
Conduct research to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and innovations in social media and video editing.
Utilize AI tools and modern editing software to streamline processes and enhance the quality of content.
Analyze performance data to refine and optimize content strategy, ensuring continuous improvement and engagement growth.
Brand Alignment:
Create captions and accompanying text that reflect the brand’s voice and engage our target audience.
Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all video content.
Adapt to varying project requirements and deliver unique, tailored solutions for each video assignment.
Innovation and Creativity:
Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, challenging traditional approaches and pushing the boundaries of social media content.
Experiment with new formats, styles, and techniques to keep content exciting and relevant.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in video editing and content strategy for social media. A portfolio showcasing your work is required.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and familiarity with AI-driven tools and applications.
Creative Vision: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and growth.
Up-to-date Knowledge: Stay current with social media trends, video editing advancements, and emerging technologies.
