Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Social Media Videographer and Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess both videography and video editing skills, creating engaging content for social media, marketing campaigns, and our website. You will be responsible for both capturing and editing long and short-form videos, ensuring a cohesive and compelling narrative that resonates with our audience of entrepreneurs and business owners.
Responsibilities:
Produce and edit long-form YouTube videos, vlogs, and educational content.
Create viral reels and clips from long-form content.
Select the best clips that appeal to our audience.
Use editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
Apply special effects, 3D, and compositing techniques.
Maintain timing, motivation, and continuity in edits.
Edit S-Log and 4K footage, and perform high-level color grading.
Integrate footage from iPhones, Sony cameras, DJI cameras, and more.
Produce 2-3 long-form videos and 3-5 reels per week.
Create closed captions at industry standards.
Develop new content from our content bank.
Organize and repurpose old content into new pieces.
Exhibit creativity and quality in montaging.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a videographer and video editor with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency with digital technology and various editing software.
Strong storytelling and creative skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Availability and willingness to travel.
Flexibility with schedule and ability to work with minimal notice.
Coachable and willing to learn.
Experience shooting in S-Log and 4K.
Software and Equipment Requirements:
Use for project and task management.
Use Slack for communication.
Use Zoom and Loom for project updates and meetings.
Can use your own equipment (Sony, DJI, iPhone) or utilize some of our equipment if needed.
We provide access to StoryBlocks for copyright-free sounds, photos, and videos.
Preferred proficiency in Premier Pro or your editing tool of choice.
Employment Details:
Part Time with Progression to Full Time
Salary – $600/week, $2,400/month Canadian Dollars
3 Days a Week Commitment
