Dulcedo Management is looking for an experienced Virtual Assistant and Social Community Manager to directly support one of Canada’s top celebrity chefs! Laurent Dagenais was born and raised in Montreal, a place where art and culture blend flawlessly with culinary experiences. Being in the scene from a very young age, it comes to no one’s surprise that he’s made a name for himself through his unique approach and creativity. There is no specific theme or direction to his recipes. He simply goes with whatever comes to mind which makes every session utterly unique. Laurent has reached over 1 million followers across all channels in a short space of time and his audience love both his techniques and the food he makes. His main objective is to transmit his learnings and incentivize people to get into the kitchen more often. He is known for his fun and user friendly recipes, and making gourmet flavors and techniques accessible to the masses!

We are looking for a responsible and personable Virtual Assistant capable of a high volume of tasks that will require multitasking. Expert level communication in English and French is essential to the success of this role. This position will require a seasoned professional with previous experience in social media marketing, social community management and administrative support.

Responsibilities:
– Help manage and maintain social programming & calendars
– Help manage social media accounts and community management
– Produce a weekly and monthly social media reports
– Help manage Laurent’s social media accounts
– Posting content on instagram, TikTok and other social platforms according to a posting schedule
– Be in charge of community management, which includes answering questions and comments on posts, answering direct messages with fans
– Working with our creative team to develop engaging social graphics and video
– Staying on top of news and trends in social media in general, and within the exclusive content industry and provide Laurent with weekly suggestions and ideas for inspiration for new content
– Edit content, according to directions
– Miscellaneous administrative tasks; executive personal assistant tasks
– Research at your Laurent’s request
– Email management
– Take care of travel arrangements, such as booking flights or hotels upon request

Requirements:
– 2+ years experience in a virtual administrative assistant role
– 2+ years experience in social media marketing and/or community management
– Experience working with North American clients
– Computer and software knowledge, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
– Proficiency on various social media platforms
– Natural talent in customer service and organizational skills
– Must be able to work autonomously and within teams
– A strong sense of attention to detail & is obsessed with staying organized
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with clients in English
– Strong problem-solving skills – detail-oriented, creative, practical
– Video editing and graphic design is an asset
