We are seeking a skilled and creative Social Media Virtual Assistant to grow our team. As our Social Media VA you will play a critical role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with and growing our audience, and driving brand awareness across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is organized, innovative, and possesses a deep understanding of social media trends and strategies. This is a remote, part-time position (two (2) – three (3) hours per day Monday to Friday) with the potential for growth within our dynamic team.
– Roles and Responsibilities:
* Curate, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc).
* Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a timely manner.
* Use and create templates in Canva for use in social media and blog posts.
* Assist in the creation of graphics, videos, and other visual content to enhance our social media presence.
* Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with our brand’s voice and goals.
* Generate, analyze, and present reports on key social media metrics, suggesting areas for improvement.
* Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
*Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and influencer engagement.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns through social media channels.
– Required Skills and Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Social Media Assistant or similar role.
– In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their respective best practices.
– Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics
tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
– Strong written communication skills with an excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and
tone.
– Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique content ideas.
– Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Spark.
– Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
– Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement and interaction.
– Experience in customer service is a plus.
– A positive and adaptable attitude in a dynamic, remote work environment.
