Nourish Women Nutrition Social Media Virtual Assistant Position

Hi, my name is Dr. Abrar Al-Shaer, PhD, RD, LDN and I am a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist in the United States. I run a women’s health integrative nutrition business & medical practice focused on improving hormone health through nutrition and lifestyle changes (/#/). I am a registered dietitian nutritionist and herbalist specializing in functional and integrative medicine for women’s health. I help women throughout all stages of their life cycles using a holistic approach that includes nutrition, herbal and botanical medicines, and a focus on the root causes of their health challenges.

I’m seeking a part-time Social Media Virtual Assistant to help with content creation for my Instagram page and aid me in expanding my online community across multiple social media platforms. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to my mission of guiding and empowering women through their hormone health challenges. As a company, Nourish Women Nutrition prides itself on providing integrative nutrition care for dozens of gynecologic conditions to thousands of women across the globe with our online community and patient base. The company is women-led with women-only employees serving women worldwide. We recently expanded the team to include 4 dietitians, office staff, and dietetic student interns.

Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Generate engaging, high-quality content.
2. Community Engagement: Actively engage with our Instagram (and other social media platforms) community through regular posts, Stories, Reels, and timely responses for DMs.
3. Campaign Planning: Convert ideas into organized, market-ready plans for promoting our brand.
4. Calendar Management: Administer a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.
5. Trend Monitoring: Keep pace with industry trends and adapt our business strategy as necessary.
6. Content Editing: Edit videos and craft social media posts for optimal presentation and engagement.
7. Community Management: Promptly respond to follower queries and comments to foster a welcoming and informative social media community.
8. Blog Generation: Help generate blog posts from given outlines
9. Copywriting: Help to create copywriting for content such as captions or website landing pages
10. Email Marketing: Help to nurture an online presence through the mailing list.
11. SEO and Traffic Monitoring: Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to optimize social media visibility.
12. New Features: Propose and implement new features such as webinars, live Q&As, promotions, and more to develop brand awareness and provide value to our followers.
13. Cross-platform Posting: Develop and adapt posts for optimal engagement across various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

I am NOT looking for someone who is not interested in working directly on all the mentioned assigned tasks. I do not need someone who will merely manage, I need an assistant who is highly driven to help deliver consistent content, is highly organized, and is motivated to make a positive change in women’s healthcare.

Requirements:
• Capacity to work 20-30 hours per week, with no less than 20 hours a week.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in content creation for social media accounts, preferably within the health or wellness industry.
• Hands-on experience in content creation and management.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills, with a talent for creating compelling content focused on women’s health.
• Proficient in design tools like Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut and others.
• Excellent design sense for content creation.
• In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• A passionate advocate for women’s health, nutrition, and holistic wellness approaches.
• Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects autonomously.
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics is preferred, although not required.
