PERMANENT WORK FROM HOME
Schedule: 8 hour shift / 7AM – 4PM ( Ph time )

Horizon Engineers is a multi service engineering firm specializing in: Transport Civil Infrastructure – Commercial Design – Residential Design – Project Management Qualified civil, structural, hydraulic and stormwater engineers delivering ongoing quality in a collaborative & systematic approach. Offering engineering consulting services for our ever-growing clients.

Horizon Engineers head office is located in Sydney, Australia and we are looking for a Software developer for our office based in Manila, Philippines.

As Software developer your primary focus will expected to assist the project which aims to make the main operations of Horizon Engineer accurate and agile underpinned by both industry domain knowledge and advanced AI-software engineering methods. You will primarily work with our Office managers in Sydney via management software, emails and MS Teams correspondence.

KNOWLEDGE

· Demonstrated knowledge/skills in areas directly relevant to software engineering, data base.
· Demonstrated knowledge/skills in Software and APP development.
· Demonstrated knowledge/skills in quality assurance procedures.
· Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
RESPONSIBILITIES

· Write code that is reusable, testable, and efficient
· Create and implement applications that are low-latency, high-availability, and performant
· Integration of front-end developer-created user-facing components with server-side logic
· Security and data protection implementation
· Data storage solution integration

DJANGO DEVELOPER REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

· Python expert with an understanding of at least one Python web framework, such as Django, Flask, or others
· Working knowledge of several ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
· Capable of combining many data sources and databases into a single system
· Knowledge of Python’s threading constraints and multi-process architecture
· Fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
· Knowledge of accessibility and security regulations
· Familiarity with user authentication
· Authorization across numerous systems, servers, and settings
· Knowledge of the core design ideas underlying a scalable application
· Experience with Python event-driven programming
· Understanding the distinctions between various delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to meet the individual platform
· Capable of developing database schemas to represent and support business operations
· Excellent unit testing and debugging abilities
· Thorough knowledge of code versioning systems such as Git.
