Acomo is Tokyo-Japan based Travel Company, Internet Hotel Booking System, for B2B Focus. There are a lot of legacy transactions in Japanese hospitality business, and we are now trying to make this industry better for everybody involved in this field, to move forward to more efficient environment. We are also providing B2B Japan-bound booking service for travel agents in Philippines, as Tour Operator.
— JOB OVERVIEW —
* Please note: This position is for full-time employment. We will only be hiring candidates who have at least (BACKEND) three (3) years of experience in a professional setting using PHP Laravel or equivalent; (FRONTEND) two (2) years of experience in a professional setting using VueJS. Applicants without this experience will not be considered as candidates.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate with team members for all the best of features, functions, User Interface, and User Experience, collaborating with work-at-home engineers (front end and back-end engineers), based in Philippines.
– Ensure that the web service applications are built with the best solutions for scalability, availability, and security
– Provide input into selecting the right technologies for the duty and job at hand
– Maximize the user feedback to improve and implement new features
– Be proactive in optimizing code and testing your own code
Requirements:
(BACKEND)
– 3+ years professional software development experience with PHP Laravel
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– English language proficiency
– Understanding and realizing the best practice for implementing the functions
– Experience with MySQL
– Understanding the teamwork and collaboration
– Identifying the requirements and analyzing the best output
– (Nice to have) Experience to implement hotel reservation system in past
(FRONTEND)
– Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
– Highly proficient with framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
– Familiarity with the ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router
– Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including sass and equivalent
– Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
– Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
– Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
– Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git
– Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– English language proficiency
– (Nice to have) Familiarity with schedule/calendar-based application
– (Nice to have) Experience to implement hotel reservation system in past
Required Position Availability:
– Full-time position. Must be HIGHLY available to work with us
Expected Work
– Working time flexible with respecting team schedule.

– Require the environment of stable internet environment (Broadband)
– Require the tools of mobile messenger and communication service
– Require Skype / Viber / Slack
– Applicant needs to have her/his computer device and mobile phones
– Acomo will fix the necessary online tools
Payment:
– $700-900 /monthly Payment, depending on experience. Remittance to your PH local bank account. We have BDO USD Account. Fee will be owned by our side.

– 3 Months as Probation Period from starting dates
