Software Development Project Manager and Team Lead

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Development Project Manager and Team Lead to lead our software development projects and manage our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
– Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
– Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
– Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the development team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best practices and tools.
– Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
– Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, balancing project demands with team capacity. Identify and address any resource gaps or issues promptly.
– Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Conduct regular code reviews and testing to maintain standards.
– Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
– Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and team performance.

Required Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
– Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
– Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), programming languages, and tools. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus.
– Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
– Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
– Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications.
– Industry Experience: Experience in Payment Processing is a plus.
– Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), version control systems (e.g., Git), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence).
