The Role
Join our innovative team as our dedicated Software Engineer for internal process automation and web scraping. This crucial role is about making our credit analyst team and dev team more productive by streamlining and optimising their existing workflow. If you love creating tools that make your teammates’ work easier, we want you on board!
You will:
Develop and maintain automation tools to support our credit analyst and dev teams
Conduct web scraping to gather valuable data
Write scripts to compare PDFs, spreadsheets, and other documents
Build tools to simplify testing processes
Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for automation and efficiency gains
Continuously seek opportunities to optimise workflows and reduce manual effort
Ensure the reliability, security, and effectiveness of the automation solutions
You’ll bring:
– 2-5 years of experience in automation engineering / web scraping
– The ability to maintain discretion while scraping websites requiring authentication
– Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Python)
– Understanding of file comparison tools and techniques
– Experience in creating automation tools for internal use
– An understanding of pdf, excel, and other file formats
– A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to various challenges
– Excitement about working in a thriving, early-stage company, contributing fresh ideas and new methods
– A collaborative spirit and an understanding of remote work dynamics
