Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Software Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing a cutting-edge legal chatbot based on our proprietary large language model. This chatbot will serve as a dynamic tool for our clients to engage with and seek legal information and assistance.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Key Qualifications:
• Proficiency in English: You must have strong English language skills, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Tech-Savvy: A deep understanding of programming languages, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning concepts is essential.
• Good Communicator: The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders is crucial.
• Trustworthy: We place a high value on integrity and trustworthiness as you will be working with sensitive legal information.

Responsibilities:
• Chatbot Development: Design, develop, and maintain a legal chatbot that leverages our in-house language model. Ensure that the chatbot provides accurate and reliable legal information to users.
• User Interface (UI) Design: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface for clients to interact with the chatbot.
• Data Integration: Integrate relevant legal databases and resources to provide up-to-date information through the chatbot.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the chatbot to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP and AI technologies. Implement enhancements and updates to the chatbot as needed to improve its performance and accuracy.
• Client Support: Assist clients in using the chatbot, troubleshoot any technical issues they may encounter, and provide guidance on its functionalities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the chatbot’s development process, including code, algorithms, and any changes made.
