Our agile team, based in the Philippines, collaborates with our US-based product manager to design and build solutions using low/no code tools. We’re dedicated to our clients in the United States, providing them with the tools to manage their remote workforce effectively.
Our approach is to combine low/no-code development with traditional development techniques to build great custom software products for our clients. We find that sometimes we need to create a custom integration or solution to solve a problem. Other times, we can set up simple integrations using tools such as Zapier or Integromat. Sometimes we must manipulate complex data and other times we can use a very simple solution.
Low code does NOT mean low skill – we’re simply utilizing production platforms to bring custom software solutions to market faster. This resourcefulness based approach gives you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects over time.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Are you a Product Designer brimming with curiosity and ideas? Does the thought of being the centerpiece of a team, blending your creativity with technical know-how, excite you? If you love being part of the process from start to finish and guiding a team towards a shared vision, then you could be our new Product Designer.
You will lead the creation and implementation of workflow-based user interfaces for our applications. But that’s not all. You’ll also be an integral part of our team, working closely with our US-based product manager and our PH-based development team. You’ll participate in strategic planning, making sure our projects are not only user-friendly but also align with our overall objectives.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. **Design & Implementation Leadership:** Spearhead the design of workflow-based user interfaces for our applications. Start by gaining a deep understanding of the user/use case you’re designing for. Then use Figma for design creation and work closely with the development team to implement the designs on low/no code platforms like Xano, WeWeb, Knack, and Tadabase.
2. **Team Facilitation and Product Management:** Serve as a conductor for the Philippines-based team, aligning design with strategic goals, facilitating goal setting, identifying and alleviating bottlenecks, and ensuring the smooth progression and timely completion of projects.
3. **Team Interaction and Collaboration:** Engage actively with team members, the Product Manager, and the development team, presenting design ideas, explaining design decisions, and collecting feedback to maintain a vibrant, collaborative, and effective team dynamic.
4. **User-Centric Design Philosophy:** Embrace a design philosophy that places the user at the center. Understand the user’s needs, preferences, and pain points to create designs that offer a seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experience.
5. **Design System Management:** Develop and maintain a design system to uphold consistency and coherence across our products.
6. **Prototyping and Testing:** Create and test prototypes of new designs/features. Collect and analyze user feedback to refine designs.
7. **Continuous Learning and Improvement:** Stay curious and open, embracing and incorporating the latest design trends, tools, and technologies. Use this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes and the user experience of our products.
8. **Documentation:** Document design decisions, user interface guidelines, and design processes for reference by the team and future designers.
9. **AI-Enhanced Design:** Keep informed about AI tools and processes, and consider their incorporation into the design workflow where appropriate to enhance and expedite the design process.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
– Experience in data heavy and workflow-based UI/UX design
– Proficiency in Figma
– Willingness to learn and use low/no code platforms such as Xano, WeWeb, Knack, Tadabase
– Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to facilitate and lead a team
– Experience in adopting a user-centric design philosophy
– A holistic understanding of product design and development
– Interest in AI applications in design
– Experience with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Trello, Asana, or similar
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Detail-oriented

**COMPENSATION**
– $85,000PHP monthly salary + 13th Month
– Paid national Regular Holidays (10 days) and national Special Holidays (8 days)
– Paid Vacation Days (7 days per year)
– Health Insurance Contributions after 60 Days ($3,000PHP per month)
– Retirement Plan contribution after 1 Year (1 month’s salary annual contribution / 14th Month Pay)
