A Software Support Analyst’s role is to study, review, and analyze user/client needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies. Document system requirements, define scopes and objectives, and assist in the creation of system specifications. Ensures the quality of system development and implementation.
Work Schedule – Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMOffice Location – Unit 20, The Arcade Building, Pajo, M.L. Quezon National Hi-Way, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
• At least a year of experience in the Business Systems Analyst industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to learn new applications and system features quickly
• Dedicated to the best possible customer experience and takes initiative toward improving it
• Ability to articulate technical and functional concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Has good communication skills in English, both oral and written
• knowledgeable in MS Visio
• Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all levels of management
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
JOB DESCRIPTION
• 1st level of support after deployment of the System.
• Analyze software-related issues and propose solutions
• Identify completeness of application/solution and facilitate UAT
• Fix software problems, and tests, and provide solutions before implementation
• Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing work instructions, and support; training users
• Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Logs customer feedback for process improvement
• Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation
• Document software support activities thoroughly, accurately, and on time
• Review work log, and customer feedback periodically with the supervisor and other analysts and technicians, to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
