Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:
· Participate in the entire development process – from requirements analysis to implementation to release, as well as in technical third-level support
· Developing automated test procedures and maintaining the tools (e.g., Puppeteer, Cypress, etc.)
· Performing automated and manual checks and tests
· Testing usability as a tester and as a user of the product
· Evaluating and presenting the results and clarifying further procedures in agile development teams
· Execution of component and functional tests as well as load and performance tests
· Carrying out quality assurance measures throughout the entire development process
· You will work closely with product managers and developers as part of our in-process quality assurance.
· You support the selection process of suitable test methods and tools.
· You will be responsible for the development of test concepts, specifications and test cases as well as the creation of user documentation.
· You reproduce software errors and create error and test reports.

Qualifications:
· You have a technical degree in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
· Ideally, you have some professional experience in the field of automated test procedures, including logging
· You have good knowledge in JavaScript. Ideally knowledge of other script languages and web applications as well.
· You have practical experience in software component testing, software integration testing and software system testing including evaluation and documentation
· You have experience in software quality assurance or web solutions and in test management
· You have knowledge in test case creation and test case management
· You have experience in an agile environment and working with developers as well as product owners
· You have hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, etc.
· Good English skills, which you can use both verbally and in writing.
