Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative with expertise in cold calling to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Cold Calling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating leads and converting them into solar energy customers.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers to introduce our solar products and services.
Identify and qualify leads through effective communication and rapport-building techniques.
Educate prospects on the benefits of solar energy and conduct needs assessments to determine their suitability for our solutions.
Schedule appointments for in-home consultations with qualified leads for our sales team.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and follow-up activities using our CRM system.
Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead generation strategies and achieve sales targets.
Stay informed about industry trends, solar incentives, and competitor offerings to effectively position our company in the market.
Requirements:

Proven experience in cold calling and telemarketing, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Ability to effectively overcome objections and handle rejection professionally.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and closing sales.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
