Role: Solar Project Manager
Your role is to oversee and manage various projects remotely. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects from initiation to completion. As a Virtual Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results while maintaining effective collaboration within a virtual work environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of solar projects, ensuring they meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Team Collaboration: Conduct regular virtual meetings to update team members on project progress and address any challenges. Foster effective communication and collaboration among virtual team members.
Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and clients. Provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring their expectations are met.
Utilize ClickUp for detailed project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with project stakeholders.
Navigate different permitting processes, including the preparation of necessary documentation and liaising with local, state, and federal agencies to secure all required permits for solar installations.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, environmental laws, safety regulations, and quality specifications.
Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards. Conduct thorough reviews and testing to guarantee client satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Generate regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Solar Project Manager in a virtual/remote work environment.
Project management within the solar energy sector, including hands-on experience with permitting processes.
Experience in Click up is PLUS but not required
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
