About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Sourcing Manager to join our team.
As the Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining supply chain operations for our clients. Your responsibilities will revolve around providing expert consultancy, engaging in inventory planning, and executing various supply chain functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
This is a Full-Time remote position.
Responsibilities:
• Product Analysis and Sourcing:
o Analyze products provided by the company and research suitable manufacturers on Alibaba.
o Verify all product details such as materials, certifications, dimensions, and packaging to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
o Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Supplier Management:
o Communicate effectively with multiple suppliers from various categories.
o Coordinate and combine orders from different suppliers to optimize costs and logistics.
o Ensure suppliers meet necessary certifications and comply with industry standards.
• Quality Assurance:
o Arrange for product inspections with third-party inspection companies before finalizing payments.
o Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications before shipping.
• Logistics Coordination:
o Manage the shipping process from the manufacturer in China to our Amazon warehouse in the USA.
o Handle all necessary documentation and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Amazon Experience:
o Utilize knowledge of Amazon’s requirements and standards to ensure products are compliant and optimized for the platform.
• Consultancy Services:
o Provide consultancy services to various clients on supply chain matters.
o Engage in inventory planning to identify supply chain parameters and maintain an optimal balance between over and understocking.
o Assist the forecasting team in developing and updating forecasts.
o Engage in executing supply chain operations for clients, including but not limited to supplier relationship management, order placement, freight arrangement, 3PL coordination, replenishment to fulfillment centers, inventory reconciliations, landed cost calculations, payment tracking, and document management.
o Optimize costs and create operational efficiencies for clients’ supply chain management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering from an accredited local or international institute. Qualification in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a supply chain management role (excluding internships).
• At least 1 year of experience related to Amazon’s ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet usage.
• Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage various tasks efficiently.
• Hard-working and ambitious: Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve results and contribute to the team’s success.
• Availability to work during specified hours to ensure overlap with team schedules for collaboration.
• Ability to join us immediately.
