Spanish Editor

We are looking for a professional copywriter to review, proofread and improve our written content. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a strong command of grammar and a knack for refining content without altering the original tone or message. The position requires a deep understanding of our target audience and brand vision, so, you will be in contact with the rest of the team and accept guidance.

Estimated budget: $100 LIGHT editing + proofreading / 30k words. Other tasks will be paid separately: tests 3$ (IA, encoder, plagiarism, etc). Can be paid for all tasks in a project package.

We are a top-quality oriented publishing business and will not accept any average results.

The estimated time to join our team will be in January 2024.

Contract Type: Independent Remote Contractor.

Responsibilities:
• Proofread and edit manuscripts for clarity, consistency and cohesion.
• Correct spelling, punctuation and syntax errors.
• Provide constructive feedback to editors and suggest necessary revisions.
• Ensure that all content conforms to the company’s style guide.
• Collaborate with the writing team to maintain the thematic integrity of the work.
• Meet publication deadlines without compromising quality.
• Other tasks:
• Perform various tests such as AI and plagiarism detection.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an editor in the publishing industry.
• Good knowledge of neutral English language, grammatical rules and writing styles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with team members and management.
• Detail orientation and critical eye for inconsistencies.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Professional experience in finance and business or higher education.
• Ability to relate to teenagers and young adults through writing.
