Your exceptional administrative and communication skills, combined with your strong understanding of healthcare compliance principles, will contribute to the smooth operation of our compliance initiatives.
Job Description:
• Provide comprehensive assistance to the healthcare compliance team by reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, training materials, and reports.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees, ensuring understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps or potential issues, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Assist in the development and revision of compliance policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
• Stay updated on healthcare compliance laws, guidelines, and industry trends to provide timely and relevant information to the compliance team, enabling proactive decision-making.
• Safeguard sensitive information and maintain confidentiality while handling compliance-related data and documents.
• Facilitate effective communication between various departments and stakeholders to ensure consistent compliance standards and resolve compliance-related queries.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to enhance compliance effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Fluency in the Spanish language is a REQUIREMENT.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical, HR, or related field and relevant certifications in healthcare compliance (e.g., Certified in Healthcare Compliance – CHC, HIPAA) is a HUGE PLUS but not a requirement.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations, such as HIPAA, HITECH Act, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines is a PLUS but not a requirement.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in compliance-related tasks and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance concepts and requirements to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify compliance risks, perform audits, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Proficient in using virtual collaboration tools, document management systems, and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Unwavering commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, fostering collaboration and building positive relationships across departments.
• Laptop or desktop that is at least I5, or I5 equivalent and above.
• Strong internet connection with backup internet available.
