Job Description:
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial management services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing key financial insights to support our customers’ business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process for multiple clients.
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner for clients.
Reconcile entries with bank statements and ensure all accounts are balanced.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
Manage and oversee the financial aspects of clients’ projects.
Assist clients in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations for each client.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities for clients. if you see this email “sunshine to
Collaborate with clients’ accountants and other financial professionals to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) or degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is a plus.
