Job Description

Our company, , is in urgent need of a Full-time Sr. Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you collect, process, analyze and use data that comes through different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. You provide guidance and support to clients for analytics solution mandates that involve using data and designing reports adapted to business needs. You use your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business to work on complex business projects and initiatives using data from different databases. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You serve as a data use resource for various stakeholders. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to understand needs, and present and explain analysis results.

Job Responsibilities

– Have the ability to analyze data and exercise sound judgment on the reasonableness of inputs
– Have a strong aptitude for working with numbers
– Are able to manage your own workload in a dynamic environment while delivering a high standard of work
– Have a proven ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
– Are able to multitask and be flexible.
– Use various data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide customer deliverables.
– Collaborate with both clients and fellow team members to identify and implement solutions.
– Ensure accuracy of data analysis and customer deliverables.
– Able to communicate or present results and business impacts of insight initiatives to project stakeholders.
– Ability to extract necessary data to provide analytical reports on Podcast, Social Media, Marketing, and Overall business ROI.
– Knowledgeable in softwares/platforms such as Google Analytics, podcast hosting sites, and social media platforms
– Understand Client’s needs, KPIs and the way of measuring them. Review the KPIs at defined frequency to propose problem solving actions.
– Use APIs to automate collection of data

Skill Set
– Completed post-secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines
– 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
– Advanced data analysis ability using Excel and BI tools (V-look up and pivot table)
– Proficient in using both Windows and Google Workspace applications
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Good written and verbal communication skills in English
– Experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Familiar with basic statistical calculations and reporting.
– Understanding of data collection and report generation
– Experience in building dashboards and basic understanding of APIs.
