Sr. Network Engineer

We are a MSP and IT Consulting firm in the USA.
We are looking for a full time Network Engineer that can become a senior member of our Infrastructure team.
This position will work with both customers and members of the team. Communicating with customers through telephone and Teams meetings.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and will be ablel to complete task with little instruction. We also require a detail oriented individual that understands the importance of documentation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will report directly to the CTO who will oversee the projects you are assigned to.
For the MSP work it is critical that we solve all of our customers issues in a timely and professional manner. For project work, it is imperative that we complete our assignments in the time allocated.
Being able to multi-task and effectively manage your time is important. Handling many projects and customer tickets at the same time will often be required.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft Windows 10/11 Window server 2008 and above.
Office 365
Networking – TCP/IP, Routing/Switching, DCHP, VLANS, VPN, DNS, SD-WAN, IPSEC, LDAP, EIGRP, DFS, DFSR, NAT
Working Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting
Connectwise Manage
SAN/Storage Fiber Channel , iSCSI
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Multi Factor Authentication
Router/Switch/Firewall configuration and management. Including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Ubiquity, HP, Aruba, Meraki, and Dell. Firewall technologies: Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, SonicWALL
LAN/WAN, DNS, and DHCP
Wireless Network Configuration & Troubleshooting
Azure and Microsoft Office 365 conversions from on-premise to cloud and supporting cloud and hybrid-cloud instances.
Microsoft Platform Systems –Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, RDS/Terminal Services and SCCM.
Data Backup and Recovery, Data Replication
Wireless Technologies
Teams
EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:
5+ Years IT Experience
No Certification is required but certification in any of these is a plus:
The following certifications are preferred: VMWare, MCSA/MSCE, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP
A degree in an IT related field is a plus.
Excellent English writing and conversation skills. The candidate will communicate with other team members and clients.
