Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated WordPress Website Developer to join their team. As a Sr. WordPress Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and updating websites for clients in the B2B professional services space. You will be working with a team of talented individuals who share your passion for creating visually appealing and functional websites.

Working Hours:
Between 8:00 – 5:00 pm PST. Since this is a part-time role, You don’t need to be available that entire time, but sometime within that range when our U.S.-based team is working.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you should have a strong web portfolio and a proven track record of designing and developing high-quality WordPress websites. You should have experience in the WordPress framework and using WordPress themes, and developing child themes. Experience in developing and maintaining responsive websites is also required. In addition, you should have experience in customizing existing WordPress themes, updating/ adding plugins, and API integrations, and setting up reCAPTCHA’s, SMTP, form, and CRM integrations.

You should also be proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). Digital agency experience is preferred, and strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Finally, you should be able to interact, communicate, and present ideas professionally and concisely.

Responsibilities:
As a Sr. WordPress Website Developer, your main responsibilities will include website design and development in WordPress. You will be expected to manage the workflow process of website development deliverables, including but not limited to plugin additions/updates, SMTP and CRM integration, page optimization (SEO), site speed, website maintenance, landing page development, theme settings/ customizations, and API integrations.

You will also be responsible for taking testimonials from clients and adding them to a testimonials block within the site, taking images and bio text from clients and creating a bio page, blog migrations, SEO addition/ check onto all pages, portfolio items, media files, etc., and click-through site audits (look for broken links, spelling errors, etc.). Additionally, you will be required to manage day-to-day account activity in a detail-oriented and organized way, adhere to budgets and timelines, and communicate/project manage through Teamwork (our internal Project Management software).

BENEFITS:
Up to 5% of your annual gross salary is available to be earned as a performance-based bonus at your 6-month review, and an additional 5% of your annual gross salary is available at your 12-month review. Both bonuses are performance-based, and we’ll decide together what the criteria for earning bonuses will be. 10 paid holidays of your choosing, in accordance with our time off policy 5 paid days of sick leave, in accordance with our time off policy. Up to $500 USD per year in tuition reimbursement for pre-approved career development courses.
