The Finance Manager will primarily be responsible for the financial well-being of Tender Health. The manager will achieve this by creating monthly financial statements, analyzing the documenting and implementing financial best practices to ensure the financial health of Tender.

Qualifications

Required:
• Financial reporting experience – experience in creating key financial reports including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Bookkeeping – knowledgeable in bookkeeping for financial systems such as Quickbooks
• Accounts payable
o Able to complete weekly reports and maintain payables
o Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
o Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time
o Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices
o Keep track of all company credit card spending, and make timely payments on credit accounts
o Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy
• Accounts receivable
o Cross trained in medical billing processes
o Ability to drive down accounts receivable pay cycles through aggressive collections and analysis
• Management – experience with supervising a team to complete bookkeeping, oversee medical billing and auditing, and other financial tasks
• Payroll – experience with payroll processing
• Demonstrates a “growth mindset,” with a proactive attitude towards learning and improving skills, coupled with a strong sense of personal responsibility and initiative in achieving goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Close out financial bookkeeping monthly to prepare for financial reports
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports using financials systems (Quickbooks/Intact):
o Income Statement
o Balance Sheet
o Cash Flow
• Execute accounts payable (including payroll) and accounts receivable processes
• Drive down accounts receivable process by leading collections team
• Perform daily bookkeeping responsibilities
• Prepare tax forms and payments for each reporting cycling including year-end taxes
