Staff Accountant – Off-Shore
Progressive CPA Firm – Fully Remote – Utah, USA

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is vital to our organization as it provides needed capacity to take on new entrepreneurial clients who need monthly accounting and tax work. Tons of variety!

The Job Duties
• Accounting assistance for our clients using QuickBooks Online, importing transactions from bank accounts and credit cards, classifying transactions, reconciling bank accounts and generating financial statements.
• Data entry and initial preparation of individual and business income tax returns.
• Work on accounting projects to get new clients historic accounting caught up.
• Look for ways to improve processes and find new efficiencies.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1 year experience and competency with QuickBooks Online accounting software
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficient with Google products, (Gmail, Docs, and Sheets)
• 2 or 4 year degree in Accounting or currently enrolled
• Prior experience entering data into tax software.
• 1 year experience working in a remote environment.

Desired, Not Required
• Prior professional experience working with a public accounting firm
