**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly creative and comedy-savvy individual to join our team as a Standup Comedy Content Curator. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and selecting the funniest and most engaging segments from our standup comedy sets to create compelling and shareable content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping us expand our online presence and connect with a broader audience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Content Selection:** Watch and analyze standup comedy sets, identifying the most humorous, relatable, and shareable segments.

2. **Segment Editing:** Edit and trim selected comedy segments to create short, attention-grabbing clips suitable for social media platforms.

3. **Platform Optimization:** Adapt content to suit the nuances and requirements of platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social media channels.

4. **Trend Awareness:** Stay updated on comedy trends and pop culture references to incorporate relevant elements into the content.

5. **Audience Engagement:** Monitor audience feedback and engagement with posted content, adjusting the curation strategy based on the audience’s preferences.

6. **Content Scheduling:** Collaborate with the social media team to plan content release schedules for optimal visibility and audience engagement.

7. **Collaboration:** Work closely with the standup comedian(s) to ensure the content aligns with their style and comedic branding.

**Qualifications:**

– A passion for standup comedy and a strong sense of American/USA humor.
– Strong video editing skills and proficiency with video editing software.
– Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
– Excellent attention to detail and the ability to recognize what makes a segment funny and shareable.
– Creativity and a keen eye for trends in comedy and pop culture.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the comedy team.
– Prior experience in content curation or social media management is a plus.
