Static Page Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Static Page Developer. As a Static Page Developer, you will be responsible for migrating and recreating static web pages from our new clients’ existing websites to the websites we provide for them. This role requires proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a keen eye for detail to ensure all content is accurately transferred and functional on the new platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Migration: Recreate static web pages from clients’ existing websites to new websites hosted by our company.
HTML/CSS/JavaScript Development: Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure accurate replication of web pages, maintaining the visual and functional integrity of the original page.

Content Integration: Ensure that all text, images, and multimedia content are correctly integrated and displayed on the new site.
Responsive Design: Ensure that web pages are responsive and render correctly across various devices and browsers.

Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing of all static pages to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet client requirements and deadlines.

Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of all processes, changes, and updates made during the migration process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and [removed] Strong understanding and practical experience in front-end web development.

Experience with Website Migration: Prior experience in transferring static web pages between websites or platforms.

Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately replicate web pages, ensuring no loss of content or functionality. Ensuring you are using the correct font, theme and design for the page you are building to correspond with the brand.

Responsive Design Skills: Knowledge of responsive web design principles to ensure web pages are mobile-friendly.

Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in testing web pages and debugging issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and Project Managers.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Web Hosting Platforms: Experience with various web hosting platforms and content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.
SEO Best Practices: Understanding of SEO principles to ensure web pages are optimized for search engines.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
