Compensation: $2.00/hour + bank fees

With the use of a cutting edge technology, STEAMid simplifies access to academic resources such as internships, scholarships, and fellowships and recommends personalized academic resources to high school and college students based on location, field of study, declared interests, behaviors, and comparative network analyses.
Job Summary
STEAMid is looking for a dynamic, hardworking and innovative Outreach Coordinator who is eager to increase access to academic resources in America. The Outreach Coordinator will be working closely with our team to conduct research, critically scrutinize and capture data, and deliver milestones under strict deadlines. Such individuals should be organized, quick on their feet, and passionate about serving their community.
Responsibilities
As an Outreach Coordinator, you will assist with clerical and administrative duties including but not limited to:
– Outreach activities by managing day-to-day email campaign, DM, and so on
– Assist in editing of email content
– Communicate with scholars and professionals that are being featured on our platform
– Respond to outreach-related tasks as needed
– Assist in social media management
– Coordinate and work closely with the social media manager
– Monitor and adjust outreach tactics as needed
Work Hours and Benefits
Coordinator will work virtually 40 hours per week. The Outreach Coordinator is expected to attend a weekly 30-60 min meeting with their direct supervisor. These meetings will take place on Saturday or Sunday.
As an Outreach Coordinator, you will get hands-on experience in organic digital marketing, socially-conscious and impactful outreach. You will have the opportunity to acquire and further develop your communication skills, time management, attention to detail, and adaptability. You will also build up customer service expertise by interacting with our users.

Experience Requirements
– Experience in customer service
– Familiar with Digital Marketing (i.e. social media and email campaigns, social media platforms, etc.)
– Familiarity with content creation and tools
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word and excel) or Google Workplace (docs and sheets) is a plus
– Ability to multitask
– Ability to communicate effectively with professional staff
– Ability to work independently and simultaneously work toward many of the organization initiatives at once
