Position Summary:
The STR Property Manager will be responsible for managing our property listings across various booking platforms, including Airbnb and Elsewhere Pods’ proprietary platform. This role involves direct interaction with guests, coordination of service providers, and detailed financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, maintain high guest ratings, and uphold our brand’s reputation in the eco-tourism market.
Key Responsibilities:
– Property Listing Management: Oversee and manage listings on multiple booking platforms. Ensure listings are up-to-date, appealing, and accurately reflect our eco-tourism ethos.
– Service Provider Coordination: Schedule and manage service providers, including cleaners and gardeners, to ensure our properties are impeccably maintained.
– Guest Relations: Serve as the primary contact for guests from booking through departure. Address any questions or concerns, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
– Financial Reporting: Provide monthly reports on income and expenses to both the business manager and property owners. Advise on necessary purchases and cost-saving measures.
– Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor and strive to maintain high guest ratings and encourage reviews on listing platforms and Google, enhancing our online presence and attractiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Proven experience in property management, particularly in short-term rental or hospitality industry.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and service providers.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills; adept at handling multiple properties and ensuring all operational aspects are executed efficiently.
– Proficient in using property management software and platforms such as Airbnb, Click to view, and other direct booking channels.
– Financial acumen, capable of managing budgets, and producing detailed financial reports.
– Commitment to sustainability and a keen interest in eco-tourism.
