Job Description

This position is an account manager / general manager role working US hours (9am-5pm EST) with our UK client who is looking to expand their home décor business in the US. This candidate will lead relationships with multiple retail buyers and brokers at Amazon, Fanatics, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Academy Sports to grow our client’s US business while managing the day to day running of the business with our client in the UK.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth, meet sales budgets and objectives

– Oversee daily account management including sales, inventory replenishment, ecommerce content, cost models, and reporting. Manage operational needs end-to-end from sampling and production to distribution and delivery to meet customer expectations

– Continued proposal to the UK team to ensure the product range we are offering is tailored to the US with new and updated skus by knowing the US sports and home décor competitors and creating competitor analyses on cost, product and marketing/ecommerce placement.

REQUIREMENTS

– Minimum 5 years in a sales or account management role to mass market retailers or e-commerce retailers
– Ability to work in a fast paced, results-based environment across multiple time zones.
– Flexibility to quickly adapt to change in priorities and act with a sense of urgency
– Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
– Strong planning, negotiation and follow-up skills
– Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and execute under accelerated timeframes
– Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to details and dates
– Creative with the development of new approaches for improved revenue potential
– Mastery in English, written and oral communication skills
