We’re growing faster than we ever imagined and we have an immediate need for Strategic Sourcing Reps to join our team! In this role you will play a pivotal role in growing our business through successful partnerships. You will be supported by the Strategic Sourcing Program Manager and perform tasks that strategically source key products within our Vendor portfolio. Key Skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Comfortable and confident when it comes to overcoming objections
– Enjoy and are experienced in relationship building
– Have intermediate to advanced experience with data and model building (e.g. Microsoft Excel, software reporting tools)
– Knows how Excel functions “think” or how they “behave” when used in a cell
– Experience generating pivot tables and data visualization reports
– Experience creating spreadsheet models, dashboards, and formula auditing
– Highly organized, detailed, and process-oriented
– Experience in doing outbound calls is a plus
– Ideally have 2+ years experience in procurement or purchasing
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
– New SKU Sourcing
– Find, pursue & vet new/current vendors for new SKUs, replacement SKUs, coverage
– Gather necessary vendor data to determine if a viable vendor
– Support Program Manager with Letters of Supply targets
– Support/Pass new Vendors to Vendor Ops Team for Final data collection & Onboarding
– Support/Pass SKU additions to the Contracts team for adding to contracts
Vendor Contracts & Forecasting
– Support the Strategic Sourcing team with vendor SLA proposals and contracts
– Support vendor forecasting of Sales Dollars for New/Managed/Key Vendor Partner Business for overall Supply Chimp
– Business Growth/Goals
Vendor Revenue
– Support the Strategic Sourcing team with current/new Rebate Programs
– Monitor and Communicate Competitive Catalog Metrics with Key Vendors
– Support Strategic Sourcing team with Catalog Cost negotiations
– Monitor & Negotiate Shipping Costs -Monitor & Negotiate pre-buys ex. MBM
– Support Vendor Escalations as Necessary
Requirements
We are a U.S.-based company, so you must be able to work Pacific Standard business hours (7 am – 4 pm Pacific Standard Time)
You must be fluent in English (both verbal and written)
You must have consistent minimum internet speeds of 8Mbps and a modern computer that meets the below specs:
Multicore Processor ex: Intel i3, i5, i7, or higher; AMD Ryzen, Athlon, FX or higher
8GB of Memory or higher
Minimum 128GB Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Storage
64-bit Windows 10 or Mac 10.14 (Mojave or Latest)
Ability to support a dual monitor setup
