We’re looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts, focusing on acquisition target identification and government contracting opportunities.

Role Overview:
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be instrumental in driving our strategic initiatives by identifying and qualifying potential acquisition targets and government contracting opportunities. This position requires a high degree of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

Responsibilities:
– Manage the outreach process & become the Subject Matter Expert for our AI outreach tool

– Independently source, research, and qualify government contracting opportunities for TwoNine Ventures. Log all findings in a dedicated database and actively engage potential strategic partners, ensuring a comprehensive network of contacts relevant to each sector.

– Use AI-powered tools to draft and refine outreach messaging, enhancing engagement and lead qualification processes.

– Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team, ensuring all findings for TwoNine Ventures are strategically aligned with company objectives, without consolidating data or efforts between the two ventures.

Ideal Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
-Strong research and analytical skills: This is a broad qualification that covers the ability to find, evaluate, and synthesize information from various sources.
-Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
-Proficiency in productivity software and familiarity with AI tools for efficiency.
-Ability to work independently and handle confidential information discreetly.

Skills
Experience with data analysis, research, and management
Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini by Google)
Working knowledge of relevant industry databases and online research tools

Additional Performance-Based Compensation
Incentive Structure for Contracts Awarded
To motivate sustained effort across contracts of different magnitudes, we’ve implemented a tiered bonus system based on the profit of each contract:
– For contracts valued under $100,000, a 2% bonus will be awarded on the profits.
– A 2% bonus will also apply to the profits from contracts valued between $100,000 and $500,000.
– For contracts valued over $500,000, a 1% bonus will be awarded on the profits.
(Note: This is based on the contract value for qualified leads you identify and nurture to the point of contract closure. For leads you pre-qualified but do not nurture, but we do close, you will receive 0.5% of the profits from that contract)
