Job Description:

As a Strategy and Process Improvement Consultant at Dillon Morgan Consulting, you will work closely with our clients to identify areas for improvement, develop effective strategies, and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, optimize processes, and enhance overall performance. Your expertise in Lean and Six Sigma, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be instrumental in driving impactful change and achieving measurable results for our clients. This role requires exceptional consulting abilities, a deep understanding of process improvement methodologies, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Process analysis and improvement:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of client processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvement opportunities.
Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles and tools to analyze process data, measure performance, and identify areas of waste and inefficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Monitor and measure the impact of process changes, ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement.
Strategy development and implementation:
Collaborate with clients to define strategic objectives and goals, aligning process improvement efforts with business strategy.
Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Conduct in-depth analysis and research to support strategic decision-making and develop actionable recommendations.
Monitor and track progress, providing regular updates and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
Change management and training:
Provide guidance and support to clients in managing change associated with process improvement initiatives.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance client teams’ understanding and adoption of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build capabilities in process improvement methodologies.
Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within client organizations.
Client relationship management:
Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored solutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on industry best practices and experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.
Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Strategy and Process Improvement Consultant, with expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement initiatives and driving measurable results.
Excellent project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools, statistical analysis software, and project management tools.
