The role:
This is a full-time remote role as a Student Success Specialist
Respond to student inquiries via email, live chat and text message
Cross-functional support about Student Success-related questions
Update scholarship and school details on the app to ensure that all important information such as deadline and eligibility criteria are accurate
Add scholarship and school details as needed
Execute key initiatives to support the growth of the company
Stay up to date on our rapid product advancements to communicate opportunities to students.
Confirm booked 1-1 sessions
Provide win-win offers to refund requests, you will be the initial point of contact for refund requests
Maintain data integrity
We’re looking for people who:
Have 1-2 years of experience in customer service/BPO
Have worked in a startup or are entrepreneurial in nature
Are authentic and want to support students in building their futures,
Have high energy, a positive attitude and are passionate about helping students
Are driven, self-motivated, and have a fantastic work ethic
Are results-oriented: will run through a wall to get stuff done
Have a keen desire to continually develop and grow their skills and are open to receiving feedback
Think on their feet and can problem-solve on the fly
Love getting feedback because you’re hungry to improve
Possess relentless resourcefulness. You always find a way to get stuff done
Possess the desire to learn and improve every day
Are great at navigating new software and learning on the fly
Are masters of efficiency, are highly organized, and love using technology to get things done quickly
Are self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if you:
Have been part of an Education Technology Company
Have worked with a scholarship committee and/or school
