We are looking for that special person that could become a ‘superstar’ in the business. Someone who loves their work and loves working with a growing team.
Someone who has B2B experience with a wide range of content types: Product content, skyscraper articles, blogs, social media, video scripts, etc.
Someone who is versatile and has knowledge of the different mediums will stand out.
Another key might be someone who has experience as a US English tutor, US English proofreader, and/or US English journalist.
Here are some of the criteria that this person must meet:
Have your own computer and high-speed Internet connection.
Speak, read, write, and edit excellent American-style English a lot better than your American boss.
Second-to-none grammatical skills
Can work from home without distractions.
Can communicate daily during US ET time zone between 9 am and 12 pm via Microsoft Teams.
Excited to learn new things and skills.
Can work full-time (40 hours per week).
Have an AMAZING attitude toward life!
Lastly, this future person might be a journalist or have experience with HARO ().
This position will be working on core products, presentations, social media, internal communications, outreach, video scripts, and websites. If it has words, then this person will work on it.
REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
A versatile approach to writing.
The greatest Google/Bing research skills ever.
Have a keen eye for grammar and details.
Can take bad grammar and rewrite it to be near to perfect.
Strong “B.S.” detector.
Excellent working knowledge of US English.
Can change existing content to make it unique to the project.
Experience with the daily management of content calendars, social media platforms, WordPress posting, and outreach to publications.
Proactive in suggesting improvements in various aspects of the project.
Understanding that smaller tasks connect to the bigger picture.
Aiming for excellence in broken-down tasks every time.
No desire to use “filler words” just to meet an arbitrary word count requirement.
You will work with less supervision & instructions but aim for quality production.
You have pixel-level attention to detail in all that you review and create.
Manage criticism well and engage in content debates.
BONUS SKILLS:
Good interpersonal skills, time management, and work ethic.
Experience with a CMS (Content Management System) like WordPress.
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or Marketing Automation platform experience. Like Infusionsoft or Salesforce (building campaigns, managing contacts, etc.)
Familiar with HTML/CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
Have journalism experience.
Make people laugh.
WORK ARRANGEMENT:
Home-based
Working 8 hours/day from Monday to Friday.
Workday hours are negotiable based on your living situation. However, the rest of the team starts work daily at 9 am ET and ends around 6 pm ET with the expectation of a 1-hour break.
Must have your own workstation (PC or Mac), stable electricity and stable high-speed internet (4mbps or better).
Available backup internet connection
