Our amazing company is a growing boutique practice focusing on people with investments in property. We provide comprehensive range of consulting, business advisory, proactive tax planning and tax compliance.

We are the ‘go to’ Tax Specialists for property investors and developers. Our firm is recognized for client satisfaction, practical, timely advice and support.

If you are driven, ambitious, eager to learn, and grow, we have the opportunity for you to become a dynamic business contributor. We have a dynamic, expanding client base and are looking to attract a Senior Accountant who aspires to future equity participation.

You will learn the business from the ground up and then progress quickly to play a key role in the firm.

Working from home, you will be responsible for managing client work, solving clients’ challenges, ensure quality service.

WE WILL REQUIRE:
1. A “can do” attitude
2. Strong communication and listening skills
3. Capability of a large amount of professional growth over a short number of years
4. University qualification – Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting – CA or CPA qualified
5. 4 to 6 years similar experience i.e. preparing tax returns in Public Practice in Australia
6. Knowledge and practical experience of Australian tax legislation
7. Proficiency in the use of Xero, Xero Tax & XPM
8. Excellent Time management skills, punctuality and reliability
9. High level of customer service skills
10. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Preparation of basic to complex income tax returns and financial statements for:
A) Companies,
B) Trusts,
C) Partnerships and
D) Individuals
2. Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements
3. Assist clients with general bookkeeping and software queries when needed
4. Tax research and providing advice on complex matters when needed
5. Mentor and coaching junior staff and provide support to team members and partners as required
6. Attend client meetings
