We are looking for an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team. As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for vetting, sourcing & managing our suppliers and ensuring that they meet our quality standards and delivery deadlines. You will be the primary point of contact for our suppliers and will work closely with our purchasing, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure that our supply chain is running smoothly.
All these suppliers has to be compatible Amazon FBA sellers as our main sales channel is Amazon.
Responsibilities:
– Research and source suppliers with a big variety of high demand products at competitive price available to sell on Amazon
– Manage supplier relationships and ensure that they meet our quality standards and delivery deadlines.
– Develop and implement supplier performance metrics to monitor and improve supplier performance.
– Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure that we get the best prices and terms.
– Work closely with our purchasing, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure that our supply chain is running smoothly.
– Conduct regular supplier reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues.
– Manage supplier risk by monitoring supplier financial stability, business continuity plans, and other risk factors.
– Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
– Manage supplier communication and coordinate supplier visits and audits.
– Handle related documentation with the help of our CPA and making sure all of our stores are in the right jurisdictional context (resale certificates and related tax reconciliation processes)
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management or procurement.
– Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Knowledge of supply chain management best practices.
– Experience with supplier risk management and supplier performance metrics.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
– Experience with Amazon and other eCommerce retail platforms is a huge advantage
– Experience with Notion, []() is preferred
