We are looking for a Supplier Sourcing Assistant (JUNIOR-LEVEL/ASSISTANT) for an Amazon e-Commerce Business based in Germany to join our growing team. As the initial face of our company in supplier searches, we are seeking a proactive and organized Supplier Sourcing Assistant. Job Responsibilities:
– Follow templates and complete tables related to supplier sourcing.
– Calculate fees and prices accurately.
– Fill out templates to prepare sourcing aid materials for efficient processes.
– Initiate contact with potential suppliers on Alibaba.
– Request and collect quotes from suppliers.
– Consolidate quotes and organize the information for assessment.
– Fill up the Quotes table, providing a comprehensive overview for evaluation.
– Endorse approved quotes to the Supplier Sourcing Specialist based on the target price.
– Foster positive relationships with key suppliers.
– Identify potential suppliers that meet the company’s requirements.
Qualifications:
– 0-2 years experience in supplier sourcing, scouting, supply chain, procurement, purchasing or evaluating suppliers is required.
– Experience with Alibaba is PLUS, not mandatory
– The candidate or employee must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
– Excellent communication skills – the ability to represent the company effectively during supplier interactions.
– Demonstrated ability in effective communication with suppliers.
– Skillful in identifying the right supplier for the company’s needs.
– Fast learner and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
– Honesty and strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
– Detail-oriented and keen-to-detail approach.
– Tech-savvy with proficiency in using computer applications, including Google Spreadsheets.
Salary: $600-$800 Depends on experience
